World Veterinary Association has shared two papers on animal welfare that were prepared by experts that are involved in the work of the WVA Strategic Focus Group on Animal Welfare:

  1. Pain Management in Farm Animals: Focus on Cattle, Sheep and Pigs
  2. Recommendations for Ensuring Good Welfare of Horses Used for Industrial Blood, Serum, or Urine Production

The WVA AW-SFG is currently drafting two position papers that are based on the attached articles.
